Huntington Beach, CA – We recently dove wearing the Victory Koredry Loose Fitting Dive Shirts. We spent seven days straight , in and out of the water, testing these comfortable new shirt/guard combinations. After a week of absolute freedom, we knew we had to include Victory in our Dive Gear Reviews. From the salty wrecks to the burning hot sun, these sometimes t-shirts, sometimes rashguards did the job well. They offered great protection from underwater scrapes, jellies and fire corals. While topside, they provided UV protection from the amazingly hot sun, as well as cover from the wind and elements.
They were light, loose and easy to wear. They dried blazingly fast and felt like we were wearing our favorite t-shirts. Hands down, these are the most comfortable rashguards we’ve ever used. And in the end we decided to just call them Dive Shirts.
The difference with the Victory Loose Dive Shirt is obviously the fit. It provides easy movement and an unrestrained feeling underwater. We preferred wearing them over the tight and form fitting Lycra rashguards that have traditionally been worn by divers. Let’s face it, a lot of divers are bigger folks and the form fitting, gut bulging rashguards of old, are not just hard on the breathing, but tough on the eyes of your dive buddy. With the loose Dive shirts, there was no sagging or stretching and they held their shape. These loose Dive Shirts look good and are oh so comfortable, both in and out of the water.
